Description

Thulite is the naturally occurring pink variety of the mineral Zoisite. It can range in color from pale pink to deep rose or even rusty red tones depending on the concentration of Manganese. The stone was first discovered in Sweden in the 1830s. It was named from the Latin “Thule” – which was a term used by ancient Greeks and Romans to refer to the then-little-known lands to the north or present day Scandinavia. Metaphysically, Thulite is very similar to Rose Quartz. It encourages unconditional self-love and acceptance. It is also said to aid artists in the emotional process of bringing forth authentic and vulnerable work.
