Yellow Jade is not actually Jade, but a form of natural Serpentine which is commonly referred to as Yellow Jade in the stone industry. This semi-translucent stone occurs in an array of hues, from deep oranges to creamy off-white tones. As a Serpentine, Yellow Jade is a magnesium iron phyllosilicate and may contain other elements including chromium, manganese, cobalt or nickel.
